Applications are now open for the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Volunteering Project in Redon, France. Hosted by Maison d’Accueil du Pays de Redon (MAPAR) in partnership with O’Formations, this fully funded volunteering opportunity allows young people to gain valuable international experience while promoting European values, youth participation, and intercultural dialogue.

Volunteers will work with students, children, families, and local communities through educational workshops, language cafés, cultural activities, and youth engagement projects.

About the Project

As an ESC volunteer, you will help promote European mobility and active citizenship while supporting youth development and intercultural learning.

Your activities may include:

  • Organizing intercultural workshops
  • Leading Language Cafés
  • Facilitating confidence-building activities
  • Supporting DIY and creative workshops
  • Organizing sports and community events
  • Promoting European Solidarity Corps opportunities
  • Creating your own youth animation project
  • Participating in group projects with other ESC volunteers
  • Attending weekly French language classes

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should:

  • Be available for the full project duration
  • Hold a valid driving licence
  • Be able to drive safely in France
  • Enjoy working with young people aged 16–30
  • Be motivated to support youth with diverse backgrounds
  • Be interested in intercultural learning
  • Be creative, curious, and responsible
  • Basic French is an advantage but not mandatory
